A movie night curated by a different 'captain' every week. A captain of new industry, flying us through their inspiration with a film or documentary of their choosing.
With a keynote introducing the subject and interactive debate after the film with question from the audience that literally come flying in!

Setting ourselves up for the travel that lies ahead. Get you tickets scanned and your coats hanged.

Captain speaking (keynotes)
Introducing the captain and it's co-pilot of the evening. The captain will share his cutting edge insights and fresh inspiration on the subject of the film

Take off (movie)
Seatbelt sign are on and the movie or documentary starts.
During the film you are asked to write your ideas and questions down on a paper.

Airshow (Q&A - Debate)
The A4 with the questions and ideas you wrote down during the movie are folded into a paper plane. The whole audience throws their planes to the captain and his co-pilot to spark the conversation and the debate about the topic and the movie.

Emma van der Leest
Emma van der Leest is trained as product designer, but has great interest and experience in the field of biofabrication and Bio Design. As the founder of the BlueCity LAB she is creating the central hub for bio designers in the region.
Laura Luchtman
Laura is the founder and owner of Kukka, which she founded after being graduate as a fashion stylist and working in the fashion industry. Kukka is a textile and surface design studio and Laura has used and developed Bio Design techniques to create new ways of working with textiles.
